About AIGMM

On June 2nd and 3rd, the conference AI for Geological Mapping and Modelling (AIGMM) will take place. The program focuses on how the intersection of data science, AI, and geological mapping can advance our understanding of the subsurface and accelerate the transition from innovation to implementation. With contributions from international experts across industry, national geological surveys, and academia, we will share the latest breakthroughs and experiences, strengthen the connection between these domains, and explore how AI-driven insights can effectively shape the future of geological mapping and modelling. The event is organized by TNO Geological Survey of the Netherlands and Utrecht University.

If you’re working at the intersection of data science & AI with geological mapping then this would be the conference for you. Topics include AI for geological mapping; Verification of geological models and maps; Uncertainty quantification in geo-AI; Data (re)interpretation and visualization; 3D Modelling of tectonic and depositional structural evolution; Resource analysis and estimation; Generative geo-AI; and implications of geo-AI for societies, surveys and industry.
